Savor the Moments, Together as a Family | Jadard Family Day Successfully Concludes

After a busy week, it was time for a weekend getaway. Jadard Family Day kicked off as promised, with employees and their families heading together to Gankeng Hakka Ancient Town. Strolling along the old streets steeped in history, they soaked in the rich Hakka charm. One fun-filled parent-child challenge followed another, as adults and children laughed freely and enjoyed a relaxed, delightful weekend together.

Draw and Guess (Charades)

A fun interactive game that puts family chemistry to the test — one person acts out the word through body language while their partner guesses, with no speaking the words on the card. Teams race against the clock, keeping the atmosphere lively and full of laughter. 

Movable Type Printing

Participants drew poems and, working as family teams in a relay, searched for movable type wooden blocks. After setting the type, the children did the printing themselves, experiencing the intangible cultural heritage of traditional printing firsthand.

Crossing the River by Stepping on Stones

Participating families used prop boards as stepping stones to move forward, with no body part allowed to touch the ground. Members worked together, racing against speed while building teamwork and balance.

Around the World

Teams worked together to complete a series of themed challenge tasks. Family members divided up roles, planned together, and covered for one another, building team strength through fun challenges.

After the games, winning families received small red envelopes as a token of encouragement. At noon, everyone enjoyed specialty Hakka dishes such as salt-baked chicken and Hakka stuffed tofu.

After lunch, participants tried their hand at silk scarf hydro-dipping and tie-dyeing, a traditional craft, encountering the beauty of intangible cultural heritage through hands-on creation.

Under the instructor's guidance, participants blended colors on the water's surface, let flowing patterns form, and transferred the unique textures onto silk scarves. Parents and children created together, each piece one of a kind, immersing themselves in the distinctive charm of this intangible cultural heritage craft.

Afterwards, everyone was free to explore, strolling through the ancient alleys of the town and immersing themselves in the charm of Hakka architecture and folk customs.

 This Family Day brought employees' families into the company's group activities, moving beyond the usual team-building format. With parent-child interaction as the connecting thread, it gave employees the chance to spend time with their loved ones after busy workdays. Through one fun challenge after another, there was both the thrill of friendly competition and the warmth of family company. It not only strengthened the bond between employees and their families, but also deepened their sense of belonging and happiness, bringing the company's big family closer together. Going forward, we will continue to organize a variety of cultural and sports activities to enrich everyone's leisure time.
